My ten facts:
1) I often forget to put salt on my rice when I'm cooking it. I have eaten a lot of savorless rice in my life because of this...
2) I've seen 7 seasons of supernatural in roughly 2~3 months. I was obsessed to say the least lol
3) My favorite horror movie genre is psychological horror. The ones that fuck up your head for a while.
4) I love to draw and write but recently I've hit a bit of a wall on both ends. But I'm trying to draw more and more each day and I'm writing small situations with my characters and other characters from official series.
5) I hate thinking up my favorite things. My favorite things (like color, song, food, etc) change a lot. The only things that haven't changed are my favorite sport (volleyball), animal (cheetah), season (winter) and anime/manga (Haikyuu!!). The rest depends on my mood.
6) I'm 165cm and I always thought it was a good height until I saw people bigger than me all around, especially in volleyball. Now I wish I was taller >.>
7) I love animals and I want to own a pet snake when I get my life set straight. And a cat. A cat is a must.
8) I have a lot of empathy towards people (and animals) except when I'm angry or they don't deserve my empathy. There are a lot of people out there that I don't think deserve empathy. Just torture and a shot to the head (you know what kind of people I'm taking about, everyone has thought so too).
9) I'm not very good at managing my money. I've bought so many books and manga volumes since I got to the mainland it's ridiculous. And this year I'm going to buy 2 volleyballs, each one costs over 55€. I'd say I need help but I really want those balls... And the freedom I now have to buy what I love when I can is amazing.
10) I don't have a preference on music genres. As long as my ear likes it, I don't care what genre it belongs to. What language the song is sung in or if it's instrumental only or not, I don't really care. If it sounds nice to my ear, then I'll listen to it.

I don't really know the name but it's made with crackers, 2 flavors of Jello (not the jelly kind, the kind that's kinda like puding or mousse?) vanilla and caramel, and chocolate mousse. You make it one day and eat it the next. When you eat it it's like you go directly to heaven.
2) What element (as in fire, water, air, etc.) do you think best represents you?
I'd say fire. I can be a lazy person and nice to be around but if I get in a bad mood or if someone really pisses me off then I won't hold back. I lose my filter on words when I'm like that too.
3) If there was one thing you could change, what would it be and why?
About everything? It would probably be for people to be more tolerant and accepting of each other. Almost everything that goes wrong in the world is because people only think of themselves and what THEY want and what makes THEM comfortable and that seriously needs to stop.
If we're talking about me, it would be for my knees to get magically better so I could train to lose weight and gain muscle to play volleyball again. My eyes can stay fucked up, that's what glasses are for. And sports glasses look cool anyways.
4) What is a fandom you encourage people to join?
Haikyuu!! is a really good volleyball sports anime/manga. There's no character that's "bad" or "evil" like in other sports anime. They might sometimes have a weird or "trash personality" (see what I did there? haha I'm a big nerd I know OTL) but they're all giant volleyball nerds at heart. And it's not irrealistic like many other sports anime. It's the most realistic one I've seen actually. And I can contest to that because I played volleyball and I've played against people with a skillset like that or very similar. I can say one thing though, the scariest is that freaking power serve. It's beautiful and and hard as balls to receive.
5) Pick a song which you feel reflects you.
...I have absolutely no clue. I don't even know how to define myself lol I'll just leave this here cause I think it's funny instead...
6) Manga, anime, tv shows or novels? (You may choose up to two)
Oh my god why *slumps to the ground* Urgh I don't know. Uh... tv shows can go away I guess. I'd want to keep novels around. So... anime or manga (this is an evil question damn you). Probably manga then. Cause I can buy it and read it without the need of a tv or laptop like anime. And there's more info on the manga than on the anime (of the same series at least). So I'd choose Manga and Novels.
7) You only have 30 days left to live, what will you do? (Assuming you are still in perfect health and the world is normal)
I'd play as much volleyball as I could, eat as much as I could, swim naked, get 10 kittens and play with them and have lots of sex.

I win the euromillions (what we call the Lottery in Europe) and I can pay to get my knees fixed so I can play volleyball again till I die. Oh and my family and friends all go out for a barbeque on the road and I play volleyball again (recurring theme I know lol) AND it's a nice day with some fluffy white clouds in the sky and there's a nice breeze outside. So good that I can nap outside on a blanket with my dad like we did when I was small.

Does anyone here play volleyball?

I was on a volleyball team (an actual team, out of school) for about 5 or so years as a setter. I had to quit because of an injury to both my kneecaps :/
But I miss it a lot! And as soon as I heard about a volley anime coming out, I read the entire manga and I've already watched the entire anime at least twice and I always get so pumped!
But what I love most about volleyball is the teamwork. People talk about teamwork in other sports like soccer and basketball but sports like that, if you're good enough, you can basically play the entire thing almost by yourself. That's impossible in volleyball. You do that and what that's going to earn you is a permanent spot on the bench.
My team wasn't that big and we had a limited number of really good players so we didn't have a libero and until my last year there, I was the only setter in the team. On my last year, a girl joined that showed interest and talent for the position so we trained her for that too (our first names were the same so it was a bit comical too). My favorite thing to do though is receives but while on the team what we needed most was a setter so I got trained as one.
My spikes are terrible though... and I mean terrible. And I always do a serve uh... "underneath"? I only used EU portuguese and BR portuguese terms so the english ones confuse me a bit and I don't know the words. We don't even say setter lol we had another name for it. But yeah, if I ever join a team again, I'll try out as a libero and see how that goes.
I'm in the mainland now but I'm going home for my birthday so I get to play with my cousin! She was the one that made me join the team and she was my captain as well. She was the best overall player of the team (I was always so proud T_T) but her serves just about killed you hehe

Back for real this time!

My laptop's screen broke last month and I just got it today. That is the good news. My laptop is back. The BAD news is that there was another issue they found in it and they had to restore the laptop's software to how it came from the fabric. Meaning they had to format it and re-install windows 8. Meaning I LOST ALL MY STUFF. Including DRAWINGS and WRITING...
Sigh... So This is a bad news to everyone waiting very patiently for an update. I have a lot on my external hard drive but I didn't transfer stuff recently so I lost a lot of work. The drawings I made a few backups online so I'm not worried. But a lot of what I wrote is lost. For both The Sand, Our Lives and for my fanfic.
I'll be working on it for part of the weekend mostly and try to remember most of what I had written.
On another note, I got a kitten! So I'm also a lot busier than usual spending time with the little bugger. His name is Tommy and he's 2 months old. He's so cuddly and sweet and loves to cuddle on your lap to sleep. Me and my roommates are still getting him used to not scratching stuff so he can't wander off alone anywhere besides the kitchen but he's still young and we have time to teach him.
I'll post a pic of him soon! He's so cute

Hey again!
I'm going back to the mainland for college soon. I'll go before classes start and even when college starts, the start of the year is quite slow, so I'll be active during that time. I'll be home just another week (not counting this one) so next week or the next, I'll be here again. Promise! I even have a few sketches and new thoughts about a story I think you guys might like ^.^

Hiatus

As you might have noticed, I have been and am on hiatus. I just came home from long weeks filled with college exams and I'm beat. I'm going to relax now that I'm at home and spend as much time with my friends here as I can before I have to leave again.
I live in an island and to study I have to go to the mainland which is far away (nearly 3 hours by plane) so yeah, I can't do this very often.
I'll be back to drawing and writing when I can, possible in a month or 2, but for now, I'm on vacation to everything.
I'm coming here once in a while to check on how things are but I won't be active. Sometimes I'm just seeing fanart of comics in here.
